Stop to Smell the Flowers

In today's busy life, do you stop and take the the time to enjoy what's going on right now? I haven't much. Not a lot of people do with the fast paced life of school, work, and relationships. There's never enough time, you know? Sometimes, it's okay to just slow down and appreciate what's around. Forget about the sunshine when it's gone. Its not life saving or anything, but it can help ease the toils of everyday life. Some things in life we only do once, and we rush by those things and possibly miss a moment that will might not happen again. People too. We see and talk to our friends everyday, but to stop and appreciate the time you spend with them. That's just great, man. It really is.

Don't worry too much. A lot of people worry about the inevitable change that life brings. Life is going to change, but you can help direct the change by setting goals and working towards them. "When life gets out of control, just hang on. It gets better." People say this all the time. Although, it doesn't really get better. There are good times, but those come and go, while the worry remains. School is just there all the time. Even on the weekends. Then there's work, if you have it. Personal upkeep isn't really much of a time consumer like the latter, but an equal, if not larger stressor. Home life is worrisome with just the natural conflict with other human beings.

Notice the little things. There's a lot that help make existence much more bearable. Possibly a Bealtes hologram reunion tour, Music festivals, Michael Cera movies, waking up during the summer, and so much more. It can also make a difference if you do little things for someone else, even something little like saying "Hello". Little things can make a huge impact. Don't worry about the little things though. If you can fix it, why worry? If you can't fix it, worrying won't help much at all. Although worry is an everlong factor in our lives, one worry never stays. Can you remember what you were worrying about a year ago?

Remember when time never seemed to run out? We never worried about what was going to happen tomorrow. It was just happy times. Now we can never seem to get enough it. Time is of the essence. We spend all our time preparing for the future. We get good grades to go to a good college. We go to a good college to get a decent job. We aim for a decent job to pay for a family and fund our children to go to a school to get good grades. The cycle continues.

We're not here on this earth for long, so don't spend it worrying your days aways. Find ways to enjoy your time. Take your time to smell the flowers and cherish the moments you have now. Always find the bright side of things. It helps.
